PA TSA Recruitment
Since 2015, Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) has established recruitment and mentoring ventures with high school members of the Technology Student Association (TSA). Every year our involvement has increased in scope, with the 2019 season culminating in attendance at the local Regional and State Conferences and provision of several academic scholarships. As founder and chair of the involvement committee, I lead negotiations with university administration and TSA executives for Jefferson faculty and students and coordinate all aspects of travel, accommodations, judging, exhibition, and event sponsorship. Our ultimate goal is to encourage high school students to pursue design, construction, & technology careers, and bring attention to the great opportunities offered at Jefferson University.
